Lanier Park
A celebration of the natural world.
I worked with Audenreid middle schoolers in Grays Ferry to develop a mural for Lanier Park after the community expressed interest in bringing color to their gray and often graffitied electrical boxes.

During their art classes, I worked with students to identify what matters to them most in public art and parks. The themes of friendship, nature, and color rose to the surface.
Over 4 days, students designed and painted the mural. Community members stopped by to help.
