A band and an art project.
Louie Louie was a short-lived, 4-piece garage pop band for which I was the drummer and unofficial outfit-maker. Approaching it as a wide-ranging art project, each member took lead on a different element and it coalesced in a messy exploration of art, music, and performance.

We were interested in what our version of femme-garage-punk-pop would look like, and who we even were as a coalesced group of artists and amateur musicians. An immersive world of dark magic, silliness, and feminism emerged.
